desk decor

my desk is a 4 drawer desk with a hutch from Raymour and Flanigan light up train - just a pottery train decoration that my Momma gave me!  gold bulbs - I took gold ornaments and put them in this huge vase.   gold bowed colored pencil holder - I took a candle holder and put it in the freezer than scrapped the inside of the candle out and painted it white, then I used sand paper to make it look a little rustic and used wire gold ribbon to make a cut 'lil bow. obviously there's a theme to my decor this year...I really love GOLD

Present Wrapping

Image
curly bows are my favorite!  they look so cute and much fancier than just a regular bow...  hand-written notes on packages are the coolest thing to me...they show someone really put effort into their gift ;)  here are two of the cute gifts that I wrapped today... and here are the rest!!! I really like to pick a theme wrapping paper because it makes it a lot easier to wrap and then everyone can easily tell that it's from me!

Candle Decoration

Image
DIY December The first DIY project I have made is this pretty candle decoration , that would also look great as a centerpiece. You will need red beads/fake red barriers, small candle(like a tea light candle), a small candle holder and a small fish bowl. I started by dumping the red beads into the fish bowl ...  then placing the candle holder and the tea light inside! When you light the candle you have a beautiful Christmas decoration!

Christmas Decorations

These will include the Christmas Decorations that I spoke of in my Black Friday post!! I put up white Christmas lights around the top of my room that I got from Lowes...it makes my room SO cozy!  I thought the "pano" pic would be cool that I took on my iPhone!  A sign I hung in my room that is from JoAnn Fabrics...   My lil' chalk board with the days until Christmas that I got from JoAnn Fabrics in the clearance section a few months ago...  I bought these gold tins to put my dog Sam's Christmas presents in, that I will also be able store things in after Christmas!!  But for now they look cute "decorating" my room!
