The Easiest Homemade Dog Treats

Image
Today I am sharing this super easy dog treats recipe! These seriously took 5 minutes to make them and then they just had to go in the oven. Although they were very simple, they are dog approved. Sam loves them, he seriously could not get enough of them. They were a great help in getting him to sit still for a few seconds at a time for these photos. Ingredients: 2 ripe bananas 1 1/2 cups flour 1 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup water Directions: 1. Mash bananas 2. Add in 1 1/2 cup flour (this photo was taken before I realized that I would need more flour), 1 cup peanut butter, and 1/4 cup water. Stir together well. 3. Roll out and use a fun cookie cutter! I used this super cute dog bone one. They are just like rolling out sugar cookies, so be sure to use lots of flour on the surface you roll them out on and then also be sure to dip your cookie cutter into flour between each cut. 4. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. 5. Store in fridge.

Meal Planning

Image
Today I am sharing my best tips for meal planning! This is seriously the best way for me to stay on track when trying to eat healthy because I do so much better when I am following a plan and not trying to come up with what I am going to eat for dinner every night after a long day. This also can be very useful to ensure that you are not overshopping at the grocery store. You plan out exactly what ingredients you will need and you don't buy what you already have. First I sit down at my island on Saturday morning and plan out the meals that I want to make for the next week using this sheet that I created. You can use this link to access the document and print out your own copy! I get out my recipe box or look up recipes that I plan to make for the week and check to see what ingredients I have and what I need to buy and then on the side of the sheet I write down everything I need to buy. This system is flexible, you do not have to eat exactly what you planned each night, y
